MANILA - The Moro Islamic Liberation Front expressed dismay at the non-passage of the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law during the second anniversary of the signing of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro.

Two years after the signing of the CAB, some provisions of the agreement have not been fulfilled, including the passage of the BBL.

According to the law, all bills which were not passed under the term of a president should be refiled and start again at the committee level.

In the case of the BBL, its passage is far-fetched since the term of President Benigno Aquino III is about to end this June.

In spite of this, the MILF is prepared to propose the bill to the next president.
